Working together

I work primarily with adults through individualized, in-depth, therapy with an intentional overlay of understanding how interpersonal, social, and cultural dynamics have shaped your lived experiences. Much of my clinical experience has focused on working with trauma survivors. My interests and training have equipped me to walk alongside people with histories that might include complex & developmental trauma, relationship issues, and prolonged experiences of anxiety and/or depression. I am also prepared to partner with those who are moving through periods of personal development and life transitions such as: exploring shifts in identity, young adulthood, partnership, career changes, becoming a parent, divorce, or periods of grief and loss.

M0re specifically, people seem to find their way to me when they are struggling with feeling incongruent in their lives. Sometimes this discomfort shows up in personal and professional relationships, sometimes feelings of discontent and disconnection are related to the self. In this way, my clients often appreciate having a therapist who orients towards inherent wellness and resources, as opposed to pathology, and who works from a place of partnership. Finally, clients often share that my way of relating enhances their ability to trust themselves, and makes exploring vulnerable experiences more possible.

I believe you will find my approach is curious, attentive, and nurturing with an appreciation for the whole and uniqueness of your experiences. If you find you are interested in exploring what it might be like to work together, I invite you to reach out.
