<image:title>Home - Working together</image:title>
<image:caption>I work primarily with couples and adults through in-depth, therapy with an intentional overlay of understanding how interpersonal, social, and cultural dynamics have shaped your lived experiences. Much of my clinical experience has focused on working with trauma survivors. My interests and training have equipped me to walk alongside people with histories that might include complex & developmental trauma, relationship issues, and prolonged experiences of anxiety and/or depression. I am also prepared to partner with those who are moving through periods of personal development and life transitions such as: exploring shifts in identity, young adulthood, partnership, career changes, becoming a parent, divorce, or periods of grief and loss. M0re specifically, people seem to find their way to me when they are struggling with feeling incongruent in their lives. Sometimes this discomfort shows up in personal and professional relationships, sometimes feelings of discontent and disconnection are related to the self. In this way, my clients often appreciate having a therapist who orients towards inherent wellness and resources, as opposed to pathology, and who works from a place of partnership. Finally, clients often share that my way of relating enhances their ability to trust themselves, and makes exploring vulnerable experiences more possible. I believe you will find my approach is curious, attentive, and nurturing with an appreciation for the whole and uniqueness of your experiences. If you find you are interested in exploring what it might be like to work together, I invite you to reach out.</image:caption>

<image:title>Approach - My Approach</image:title>
<image:caption>Being human and experiencing suffering is inevitable. Yet, most of us have been conditioned to believe there must be something “wrong” with us if we are dissatisfied in our lives, if we are struggling, or if we are in pain. In this way, life has a particular way of making us feel inadequate and alone. Therapy offers a unique opportunity for you to bring all of your depth and complexity into a space that acknowledges your humanity and is actively curated to attend to you. In this spirit, my orientation and training is informed by modern psychoanalysis: an approach that relies heavily on the therapeutic relationship as a form of technique and path to healing. Further, neuroscience is demonstrating that there is something deeply alchemical and curative to the process of putting ourselves into words, week-after-week. Talking, when done in the presence of an attuned and valued other, is nothing short of transformative. I will be doing my part well if, over time, you come to find that you can say and feel everything, reaching for more of yourself through the exploration of whatever arises. Together, my hope is we are able to make more and more room for you to be seen and heard; and, in doing so, you will be intrigued and compelled by the long-term, satisfying shifts that emerge from knowing yourself more fully, and from being known.</image:caption>
